Constitution Confusion

Recently unsealed, the government’s indictments against Austin are weak, but they’ll hold water due to the confusing crossover of individual liberty in the digital space. Austin’s actions, if conducted in person, rather than online, would have had the necessary protections afforded by our Constitution.

Unfortunately, because there is no Internet Bill of Rights currently in existence to re-affirm our Constitutional rights in the digital sphere, Austins activities of conducting common legitimate ‘activist’ operations, the kind that organizations like PETA and are known for, may put him behind bars for an extended period of time.
